We are looking for a woman who loves people, is a good listener, highly relational with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable discipling others, and can quickly connect with people from diverse backgrounds—religious, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, educational, and social.

Volunteer Positions
COOOL (Changing Our Outlook on Life) Mentor
We are looking for female volunteers to build meaningful relationship with incarcerated women though in-person visits for two hours on Thursday afternoons. These volunteers will receive training and join a team mentoring women in the Mecklenburg County Detention Center. This person must be a woman who is willing to get clearance and enter prisons.

Prison Program Assistant
This person will provide hands-on help during actual prison visits, assisting with classes, craft events, worship time, etc. Program materials and training will be provided. This role requires a time commitment of a few days a couple of times per year. This person must be a woman who is able to drive to various cities, get clearance, and enter prisons.

Prison Program Developer
We are looking for someone to assist with Prison Program Development. This person is administrative and/or brings justice experience either personally or professionally. ​​
